Learn to create or update your classroom web pages. Web pages are a great way to get you communicating with parents and students. In one session, you can have a web page that is functional and useful! Pick the training session that is right for you!

 

EASY WEBPAGE With Teacher Web

In this class, we will create and easy to use and update web page. You will receive a free trail version of this webpage for 2 months (yearly subscription coast $27) . In 30 minutes you will learn everything you need to know about teacher web and create your own site to use the very next day! You will learn how to upload pictures, word documents and more. The last half of the training session will give you time to build your site.

In this class, we will create a webpage using Microsoft word. You don't need and money or any HTML skills. If you can use word, then you will have a webpage! This hour class will go over the basics of webpage needs and will help you learn how to publish your creation out to the web.

*  Learn basic computer skills in Word, PPT, and Excel.

*  Learn to use search engines and web resources to enhance curriculum area.

*  Create videos and lessons using United Streaming as a video tool.

*  Handle and operate digital cameras and understand the use in the classroom

*  Understand the need for a class web page as a form of parent communication and create a BASIC web page.

*  Become familiar and comfortable using the e-clickers as a form of assessment in the classroom.

*    Learn how to use and create student projects in Movie Maker

*    Learn how to use and create student projects with Pod casting

*    Learn new web resources for the classroom

*    Learn advanced features of United Streaming and E-clickers

*    Learn how to use and create student projects using web quests as student based learning

*    Learn how to take the classroom web page to the next level as an effective student/parent resource

*    Learn how to effectively train other teachers in Pod casting and Movie Maker

The Digital Learning Academy is a hands on workshop focused on helping teachers blend technology into creative, powerful lessons and projects for k-12 students. AT &T will facilitate this workshops for only a handful of MPS teachers that are wanting to bridge the gap of technology and education.
