Creating a Web Page

 

So you want to create a webpage to use in your classroom. It really is easy and a great communication tool for students and parents. You will look like a super teacher by creating a web page. A webpage is a great place to have spelling words, educational links, field trip forms, study guides, pod casts, PowerPoint ,notes and more! Jump into the world wide web and get your class out there!

Simple websites that will take just minutes to set up and use. If you can type and click you can have a web page on one of these sites!

Use a Pre-created MPS Template in Word Click to e-mail and request the template to use

What shouldn’t be on my webpage?

Ø      Material that is political, religious, or offensive in nature

Ø      Any student work, name, or pictures without a web/image release signed by parent

Ø      Student personal information (birth dates, address, phone number…)

Ø      Student full names (first name, last initial only)

Ø      Student picture with name (picture only or name only is really best)
